You are welcome to bring fluorescent accessories and lights to light up the races’ courses! The atmosphere is going to be electrifying after the race, thanks to the Zumba class and numerous other activities on-site. Let’s free the night owl in you!

In 2017, Courses d’un soir d’été will take place on August 8th. Furthermore, the event will be back on a Tuesday. Courses Thématiques also acquired impressive lightning equipment to lighten the race course!

REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE EVENT OR DURING THE RACE KIT PICK-UP
You can register in advance if you come pick up your race kit at Boutique Courir in Longueuil, or you can do it the day of the event. You will find more information about location and schedules below. Please note that registration fee is payable by check or in cash only.
RACE KIT PICK-UP
The race kit pick-up will be taking place at the Boutique Courir in Longueuil.
**Registration proof is mandatory**
Before the event: Boutique Courir Longueuil, August 4th and 5th, 2017
Saturday August 5th from 10 AM to 4:30 PM
Sunday August 6th from 12 PM to 4:30 PM
The day of the event: Tuesday August 8th, 2017
Registration opens from 5:30 PM. You must come at least 45 minutes prior to your race’s departure time.
Location: Parc de la Cité, Registration at the welcome pavillon.
PICKING UP SOMEONE ELSE'S RACE KIT
To pick up a race kit for a colleague, a friend or a family member, you simply have to show his or her proof of registration.
CHANGING YOUR DISTANCE
You must ask to change your bib when you go get your race kit on the Friday or Saturday at the store. You could also do it up to 30 minutes before your race’s departure at the Registration Area. If you wish run a longer distance, for instance going from 5K to 10K, make sure you bring money or check to pay for the difference. If you want to run a shorter distance, you will not be refunded.
TRANSFERRING YOUR ENTRY BIB
You must ask to transfer your bib when you go get your race kit on the Friday or Saturday at the store. You could also do it up to 30 minutes before your race’s departure at the Registration Area. To complete a transfer, we need the full name, city of residence and birthdate of the person you are transferring it to. In addition, we need the consent of the person who is transferring his/her entry, via e-mail or signed letter.

Nearby streets, beware of the No-Parking signs.
There will be a safe location inside the where you could leave your personal belongings. There will also be a changing room in the Reception center.
Each race will be timed electronically. This service will be provided by SportStats. Walkers are welcome in distances from 1K to 10K.
OFFICIAL RACE SHIRT
A shirt will be offered to every participant of the 5K and more, except for people who have declined the shirt or have selected the Express Formula.
Water and X1 ProCircuit Endurance sports drink will be served at the water stations, set-up approximately every 3K to 4K as well as at the start and finish lines.
There will be toilets close to the Reception Building.
Although it is not recommended, you are allowed to run with headphones. However, you must run on your right-hand side as much as possible, in order to enable the rescue team and cyclists to move along freely.
The planned courses are subject to change at any time. The event is sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme (FQA).

AFTER THE RACE
A delicious full meal will be offered to every runner. The meal is accompanied by pita bread, Liberté yogurt, non-alcoholic cider from Cidrerie Michel Jodoin and a beer from Farnham Ale & Lager Brewery. Please note that you must have your bib in order to receive your meal. You may buy an extra meal for a non-participant at the Registration Area.
AGE GROUP MEDALS
Distinct medals will be offered to the three fastest men and women of each age group.
- 0 – 5 years old
- 6 - 7 years old
- 8 - 9 years old
- 10 - 11 years old
5K et 10K
- 19 years old or under
- 20 - 29 years old
- 30 – 39 years old
- 40 - 49 years old
- 50 – 59 years old
- 60 - 69 years old
- 70 and over
Results will be available online at www.sportstats.ca in real time and will also be posted on-site the day of the event.
Each finisher will receive a medal.
MEDAL, PRIZES AND AWARD CEREMONY
After each race, there will be an Award Ceremony at the podium. Distinct medals and prizes will be given to the first three men and women of every race. The prizes must be collected the day of the event. Forgotten prizes will not be sent by mail.
Walkers are welcome to our event for the 5k and 8k courses. There will be a distinct medal ceremony for the first three men and women of this category.
AN OFFICIAL EVENT THAT IS SANCTIONED AND TIMED
All races will be electronically timed by SportStats. Furthermore, all Courses Thématiques’ events are sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme. We also guarantee that the courses are accurate and measured properly.
