Join us for the first edition of the Demi-Marathon Sun Life de Brossard, an event offering 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km distances.

Run or walk through the heart of Brossard and along the shores of the St. Lawrence River.

*It's important to arrive early, so we highly suggest that you arrive one hour before your set departure time.

9h30 : 5 km podium

10h05 : 5 km walk podium

10h15 : 10 km start

11h30 : 10 km podium

11h45 : 1 km start

12h00 : 1 km podium

12h30 : End of activities

PARKING

Parking is available at Brossard City Hall.

Parking is also available on nearby streets.

Bag drop-off

There will be a secure, supervised place to drop off your personal belongings on site. However, there will be no changing room, so be prepared !

BATHROOMS

There will be toilets near the start and finish areas.

WATER AND SPORTS DRINKS

Water and sports drinks containing BRIX electrolytes will be available on the course every 3 km, as well as at the start and finish. The electrolytes in this formula will keep your body well hydrated, while reducing the risk of cramps and muscle fatigue.

USING HEADPHONES

The use of headphones is not forbidden in circuit races. However, they are not recommended. Whether you decide to wear them or not, you must keep to the right of the track to allow the rescue team to circulate freely.

MEAL FOR PARTICIPANTS

A tasty full meal will be offered to all runners.

Please note that your bib is required to collect your meal after the race. It is possible to purchase an additional meal when registering.

RESULTS

Results will be posted on SportStats.ca in real time. In addition, they will be posted on the site on the day of the event.

MEDALS AND THE PODIUM

After each race, there will be a medal ceremony on the podium. Separate medals will be awarded to the three men and three women finishing first in each distance. Participation prizes will also be distributed to participants on site. All prizes will be awarded at the race and cannot be mailed out at a later date.

SANCTIONED BY THE FQA
The Marathon Sun Life de Brossard, like all the Courses Thématiques, is sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d'athlétisme, which ensures that the courses are accurate and properly measured.

MEDAL BY AGE GROUP

For each distance, separate medals will be awarded to the three participants finishing first in each age category. Medals will be handed out at the handover tent.

Age groups per event:

1K

• 0 – 5 years

• 6 - 7 years

• 8 - 9 years

• 10 - 11 years

WALKERS

Walkers are welcome at our events for distances under 15 km. In addition, there will be a separate medal award for male and female winners in this category. For this category, there are no age medals.
