Take on the challenge at the Marathon de Longueuil Sun Life, the unmissable running and walking event on the South Shore of Montreal. The event offers distances of 1 km, 2 km, 3.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km. Meet at the Colisée Jean-Béliveau for an unforgettable sporting experience!”

WEARING HEADPHONES

The wearing of headphones is not prohibited in the races of the circuit. However, it is not recommended. Whether you decide to wear them or not, you must stay to the right of the track to allow the rescue team to move freely.

Public transport is available on Sundays by the RTL on lines 20 and 123.

Departures from the Longueuil terminal on Sundays

*Allow 20-23 minutes to get to the event site.

First departure: 6 a.m.

Lines 20: every HH:10 and HH:40 of every hour.

Lines 123: every HH:10 of every hour.

Return to the Longueuil terminus

Departures all day

Line 20: every HH:44 and HH:11 of every hour.

Line 123: every HH:38 of every hour.

By car

No parking available at Colisée Jean-Béliveau.

Incentive parking will be available for participants at the following locations:

Rona : 220, chemin du Tremblay Boucherville (Quebec) J4B 8H7, 1,100 seats.

Pierre-Dupuis Vocational School: 1150 Chemin du Tremblay, Longueuil, J4N 1A2

Joseph-de-Sévigny School: 1000 Chemin du Lac, Longueuil, J4J 1W3

Take advantage of the free shuttle from the Rona parking lot to the Colisée Jean-Béliveau.

Don't forget carpooling!

baggage check

There will be a secure, supervised place to deposit your personal belongings on site. On the other hand, there will be no changing room, plan ahead!

toilets

There will be toilets near departures and arrivals.

Water stations

There will be water stations approximately every 3k and at the start and finish lines.water as well as BRIX containing electrolytes will be served. The electrolytes will allow you to stay hydrated and diminish the risks of muscular cramps and fatigue.

The planned courses are subject to change at any time.

MEAL FOR PARTICIPANTS

A tasty full meal will be offered to all runners. Please note that your bib is required to collect your meal after the race.

It is possible to purchase an additional meal when registering.

RESULTS

Results will be posted on SportStats.ca in real time. In addition, they will be posted on the site on the day of the event.

MEDALS AND PRIZES ON THE PODIUM

After each race, there will be a medal ceremony on the podium. Separate medals will be awarded to the three men and three women finishing first in each distance. Participation prizes will also be distributed to participants on site. All prizes will be awarded during the race and cannot be mailed afterwards.

FQA SANCTIONED

The Marathon de Longueuil, like all Courses Thématiques, is sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d'athlétisme, in addition to ensuring that the courses are accurate and measured properly.

 
 

MEDAL BY AGE GROUP

For each distance, separate medals will be awarded to the three participants finishing first in each age category. Medals will be handed out at the handover tent.

5K – 10K - 21.1K - 42.2K

  • 30 – 39 years

  • 40 – 49 years

  • 50 – 59 years

  • 0 – 5 years

There are no age categories. 

WALKERS

Walkers are welcome at our events for distances of less than 15 km. Additionally, there will be a separate medal presentation for male and female winners in this category. For this category, there is no medal per age category.
