This coming Spring, get out of Winter’s lethargy and come run in the best trails Bromont has to offer!

Come and enjoy the 4th Edition of the Trail de Pâques de Bromont, which will be taking place at the Centre national de cyclisme de Bromont.  1K, 2K and 10K trails will be available. The total number of participants is limited to 300 people.

Mud, but mainly fun for you, your family and even your puppy!


RAce theme: chocolate !

All participants will receive a chocolate medal.

CANICROSS
Those who enjoy running with their four-legged mate  are going to feel fulfilled this year, thanks to the 2k and 5k canicross organized by Geneviève Baril, a pioneer in this field and a founder of Sirius Sports Canins.

REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE EVENT

You can register the day of the event. Please note that the registration fee is payable by check or in cash only. The Registration Table is located inside the Centre national de cyclisme and will be open on Sunday April 16th from 9 AM.

RACE KIT PICK-UP

On the day of the event (Sunday April 16th)

You should pick-up your kit at least an hour prior to your race’ departure time on Sunday morning, at the Registration Table, which will open at 9 AM. Don’t forget to bring your registration proof.

CHANGING YOUR DISTANCE

If you wish to change your running distance, you must ask to transfer your bib up to 30 minutes before your race’s departure at the Registration Table. If you wish to run a longer distance, for instance going from 5K to 10K, make sure you bring money or check to pay for the difference. If you want to run a shorter distance, you will not be refunded.

TRANSFERRING YOUR ENTRY BIB

Transfers have to be completed up until 30 minutes before your race’s departure time. To complete a transfer, we need the full name, city of residence and birthdate of the person you are transferring it to. In addition, we need the consent of the person who is transferring his/her entry, via e-mail or signed letter.

PARKING

You may park your car at the IGA store located at the intersection of Bromont Boulevard and Shefford Street, at walking distance from the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont. Click here to see the map.

BAGGAGE CHECK

There will be a safe location inside the Centre national de cyclisme where you could leave your personal belongings. There will also be showers and a changing room.

 

SECURITY AND EQUIPMENT: CANICROSS

For everyone’s safety, your dog must be kept on a leash at all times. Also, in order to participate to a canicross, you must use a dog harness. Water pools will be available on-site to quench your dog’s thirst.

RACES' COURSES

The planned courses are subject to change at any time. The event is sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme (FQA).

TIMEKEEPING

Each race will be timed electronically. This service will be provided by Jikko. Walkers are welcome in distances from 1K to 10K.

WATER STATIONS

Bieausphère water and X1 ProCircuit Endurance sports drink will be served at the water stations, set-up approximately every 3K to 4K as well as at the start and finish lines.

TOILETS

There will be toilets inside the Centre National de Cyclisme.

WEARING HEADPHONES

You are allowed to run with headphones, although for safety reasons, it is not recommended.



AFTER THE RACE

PARTICIPANT'S MEAL

A delicious full meal will be offered to every runner. The meal is accompanied by pita bread, Liberté yogurt, non-alcoholic cider from Cidrerie Michel Jodoin and a beer from Farnham Ale & Lager Brewery. Please note that you must have your bib in order to receive your meal. You may buy an extra meal for a non-participant at the Registration Area.

AN OFFICIAL EVENT THAT IS SANCTIONED AND TIMED

All races will be electronically timed by Jikko. Furthermore, all Courses Thématiques’ events are sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme. We also guarantee that the courses are accurate and measured properly.

RESULTS

Results will be available online at www.jikko.ca in real time and will also be posted on-site the day of the event.

PARTICIPATION MEDALS

Each finisher will receive a medal made of chocolate.

MEDAL, PRICES AND AWARD CEREMONY

After each race, there will be an Award Ceremony at the podium. Distinct medals and prizes will be given to the first three men and women of every race. The prizes must be collected the day of the event. Forgotten prizes will not be sent by mail.

WALKERS
Walkers are welcome to our event for the 5K and 8K courses. There will be a distinct medal ceremony for the first three men and women in this category.

 

AGE GROUP MEDALS

Distinct medals will be offered to the 3 fastest men and women of each age group.

0 – 5 years old

6 – 7 years old

8 – 9 years old

10 – 11 years old

5K – 10K – 15K -  21.1K and 42.2K

19 years old or under

20 – 29 years old

30 – 39 years old

40 – 49 years old

50 – 59 years old

60 – 69 years old

70 years old or more
