Ready, set, go ! We are proud to be able to welcome you to “La Rapide de Saint-Lambert” for a 8th edition.

Elite and up-and-coming runners, as well as weekend runners and families, are invited to participate in the NDL Race. In addition to promoting healthy lifestyles, the profits generated by the Run are donated to the Le Chapeau Endowment Fund of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes College. Looking forward to seeing many of you there !


Event’s location

845 Chemin Tiffin, Longueuil, QC, J4P 3G5.

The starting point is a 15 minute walk from the Longueuil Metro or a 2 minute drive from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.

7:00 AM : Site opens and bib pickup

8:30 AM : 2 km start

9:00 AM : 5 km start

9:30 AM : 2 km and 5 km podium

10:00 AM : 10 km start

11:05 AM : 10 km podium

11:35 AM : 1 km start

12:00 PM : End of activities

Parking

Parking available in the surrounding streets.

Opt for the paid parking lot at Cégep Champlain on Riverside Street (500 m from the site).

Arrive early, carpool or take the metro (a 1.5 km walk from the site)

Baggage check

There will be a secure, supervised place to drop off your personal effects.

Toilets

Toilets are located on site.

Water stations

There will be water stations approximately every 3k and at the start and finish lines.water as well as BRIX containing electrolytes will be served. The electrolytes will allow you to stay hydrated and diminish the risks of muscular cramps and fatigue.


Race’s courses

The planned courses are subject to change at any time.

5 km and 10 km are certified by Athletics Canada.

After the race

THE PARTICIPANTS' MEAL

A delicious full meal will be offered to all runners. Please note that your bib is required to collect your meal after the race.

An additional meal can be purchased for $10 at the food tent during the event.

RESULTS

The results will be available in real-time on SportStats.ca. Additionally, they will be displayed on-site on the day of the event.

MEDALS, PRIZES, AND PODIUM CEREMONY

After each race, there will be a medal ceremony on the podium. Distinct medals will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in each distance.

AGE GROUP MEDALS

For each distance, distinct medals will be awarded to the top three participants in each age category. Medals will be distributed at the awards tent.

2 km: 17 and under

5 km and 10 km:

  • 19 and under

  • 20 to 29 years old

  • 30 to 39 years old

  • 40 to 49 years old

  • 50 to 59 years old

  • 60 to 69 years old

  • 70 and over

Please note that the 1 km race is not timed, and there will be no podium ceremony for this distance. If a child wishes to take on a timed challenge, they must register for the 2 km race.
